Green card  How does it work?
For a one-off joining fee of $20 ($10 for full-time students), Green Cardholders are entitled to a 15% discount on purchases made in our store, by mail order (phone, fax or email), or through the MBC website. This discount applies to books, CD-ROMs, models, charts, giftware, and novelties but excludes any item marked nett, sale items and all medical equipment and instruments. In the store any item which does not attract the Green Card discount will be clearly marked. Online, the Recommended Retail, College Trainee/Fellowship, Student and Green Card prices of these items will all be the same. How do I become a Green Cardholder?

Just click here to add a green card membership to your shopping cart. We will process your membership immediately and apply the 15% discount to that order. In the future:
You can join the Green Card programme whenever you choose. The one-off membership fee of $20 ($10 for full-time students) will be payable at that time. There are a number of ways you can do this: - Click here for a printable Green Card application form. When completed you can email, fax or post the form to us and we will process your membership immediately. Please be aware that this form is not linked to a web order.
- Phone, fax or email us requesting a Green Card brochure explaining the terms and conditions of membership and containing a membership application form. We will send you the brochure and you can return your completed application form at your leisure.
- We can arrange it on the spot for you when you are in the store or if you phone fax or email us indicating that you wish to become a Green Cardholder.
How do I use the Green Card shopping online?
Simply select the Green Card price for each item you wish to purchase and state your membership number when prompted during the ordering process. How do I use the Green card shopping in the store?

To receive the 15% discount when placing an order by phone, fax or email quote the membership number which appears under the barcode on the back of your card. Who is eligible to hold a Green Card?
Green Card membership is open to anyone with an interest in health and wellbeing. Our members include people from all walks of life with an interest in health, tertiary students across a diverse range of faculties, doctors, nurses, ambulance officers, complementary therapists, and health professionals in all fields of medicine and allied health. Can other people use my Green Card?
Green Card membership is not transferable but the one-off cost to join is so reasonable can you afford not to have our Green Card in your wallet? For more information, see our terms and conditions for Green Card membership at the end of this page. What if lose my card or it is stolen?
Notify us by phone, fax or email and we'll arrange for a replacement card to be sent to you. What if forget to bring my Green Card with me?
Our sales staff can identify you as a Green Cardholder by name or membership number whether you are shopping in person (and don't have your card with you) or you are using any of our other shopping options. However, your purchases and discount can be processed more quickly if you present your Green Card when shopping in our Milton store. What if my details change?
Green Cardholders will receive newsletters and regular updates from the Medical Book Centre about new releases, sales, special discounts and offers, in-store events, and other promotions of interest. If you change address it is important that you let us know so that you can continue to receive correspondence from us. You can amend your personal details at anytime at our Milton store, by mail, phone, fax or email. How we respect your privacy
We respect the privacy of all Green Cardholders and are firmly committed to protecting our customers' personal information. The records we keep for the purposes of maintaining the Green Card programme are not disclosed or sold to any other organization for any reason. The information collected from Medical Book Centre customers will only ever be used to enhance our understanding of their professional and/or educational interests and requirements and to enable us to communicate more effectively with them. We may disclose customers' contact details to external service providers (such as mailing contractors) but this information will only be provided to these agents under conditions of confidentiality to enable them to carry out the functions they have been contracted to do on our behalf.
On termination of membership, the Green Card member's contact details will be deleted from the Medical Book Centre's Green Card database. Terms & Conditions of Green Card Membership
These terms and conditions form the basis of the Green Card programme: - Membership
- These terms and conditions will apply to all Green Card transactions.
- Only individuals may be members of the Green Card programme on payment of the stipulated membership fee.
- Green Cards are issued and remain the property of the Medical Book Centre.
- The Medical Book Centre reserves the right to withdraw the card at any time.
- The Medical Book Centre may refuse any application for Green Card membership.
- Green Cards are issued on the basis of one card per individual.
- The Green Card is not transferable and cannot be used as a credit card.
- A member must notify the Medical Book Centre immediately of any change of address or of a lost or stolen Green Card. The Medical Book Centre is not liable for any delay in replacing a Green Card.
- Discounts
- Members of the Green Card programme are eligible to receive a 15% discount on purchases made at the Medical Book Centre, using the Medical Book Centre website, or by mail order.
- The 15% Green Card discount applies to books, CD-ROMs, models, charts, giftware and novelties excluding any item marked nett, sale items and all medical equipment and instruments.
- The Medical Book Centre reserves the right to make any changes at any time without prior notice, and at the Medical Book Centre's absolute discretion to the goods and services which attract the 15% Green Card discount.
- In order for the 15% discount to be applied to a purchase the Green Card must be presented or the Green Card membership number quoted.
- General
- The Medical Book Centre reserves the right to make any changes at any time without prior notice, and at the Medical Book Centre's absolute discretion to these terms and conditions. The Medical Book Centre will attempt to notify all Green Card members of any changes but shall not be liable in any way for failure to do so.
- A notice shall be deemed to be given by the Medical Book Centre if it is sent to the postal or email address of the member as it appears in the Medical Book Centre's Green Card programme database.
- The promoter of the Medical Book Centre Green Card is Medical Book Centre Pty Ltd CAN 010 655 633. The Medical Book Centre is located at Unit B, 27 Douglas St, Milton Qld, 4064.
